Barentz Expands HI&I Sales Team

Barentz, a leading distributor of life science ingredients and specialty chemical solutions throughout North America, is excited to welcome Robert Sansone to our expanding HI&I sales team as Senior Account Manager.
Bob began his education with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Studies from Montclair State University and received a second Bachelors in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology. His early experiences include Sales/Makeup Artist (Neiman Marcus, Paramus, NJ) and Home Environment Specialist/Project Manager (Fragrance Resources, Clifton, NJ).
Bob’s career path has led him down an exciting road where he not only managed high-volume sales accounts, but also brought growth and positive change to his teams. Before moving into his current sales role, Bob was a Senior Fragrance Evaluator. Bob really “nose” his fragrances! He is a Mentor for the Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing Program at FIT. For the last 10+ years, he has been invited back to FIT to teach a 2-hour class on Fragrances for the Home Care Industry. He was a former makeup artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
In his personal life, Bob is an avid golfer. He and his wife of 23 years, Heidi, have three children (Emily, 22; Madeline, 19; and Nicholas, 13) and a dog named Daisy. Along with all his professional titles, Bob has proudly held “titles” in his personal life as well: Softball Coach, Dance Dad, Baseball Coach, Girl Scout Cookie Master, Basketball Coach, etc. Bob has a passion for wine & cheeses and everything Disney. He is a fan of the Boston Red Sox, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the NY Giants.
